Fold a tablecloth into quarters.
With chalk, mark the fold that will be at the back of your tree with chalk. You can also mark a quarter-circle in the corner and use it to draft a trunk-hole.
Unfold the tablecloth and adjust your trunk-hole. Mine was too big so I re-drafted it using a can of tomatoes.
Cut on your chalk line and around the hole. Using a sewing machine, zig-zag stitch up one side of the cut you just made, around the hole, and back out to the hem of the tablecloth. Or serge it. Or just leave the edge raw if you don't have a sewing machine or just don't care enough or both.
Wrap it around the base of a Christmas tree.
Add presents.
Merry Crafty Christmas.

Looks great! I will keep in mind for next year. And I would definitely fall into that category of not owning a sewing machine/not caring enough to make it look nice.

Thanks, Stacey. If only flash photography was this easy for me. :)
